Major clearance of macrophytes by CCC workers. Water level has dropped substantially - by about 2/3 of original depth (footbridge as reference, as water was only a few cms below underside of bridge, now 20-25cms deep). Silt/sand has also been removed, or has washed down stream by flow, now only at very edges of bank.
