Community Restoration and Education Hub

The Community Restoration and Education Hub is Funded by the Department of Conservation's Community Fund. We have converted a container into an outdoor classroom that we can use to teach our environmental education programmes and  as a base for our future citizen science forest monitoring programmes.

The Restoration and Education Hub is based in Styx Reserve Living Laboratory and is kitted out with a bunch of tools and resources for ecosystem restoration activities and learning. 

Local schools are welcome to request a key.
